I have my favorite pumpkin chocolate cookie recipe that I make every year.
But my usual recipe takes over an hour. And it's made from scratch.
I typically don't use mixes to bake, I prefer scratch.
BUT this new recipe uses store bought mix that can be prepared and baked in less than 30 min.
It's perfect for when the late night hakerin' kicks in.

Makes: 3-4 dozen
Time: less than 30 min

  • 15 OZ can of pumpkin
  • Spice cake mix (If you don't have spice cake mix, any other mixes will do)
  • 1 cup of chocolate chip

  1. Preheat the oven at 350
  2. Mix can of pumpkin & cake mix until everything is evenly mixed
  3. Add chocolate chip and stir until evenly distributed
  4. Spray the cookie sheet with oil, rub butter, or use wax paper
  5. Drop 1 tbsp of cookie dough on the cookie sheet
  6. Bake for 25 min

Tip: Depending on your location, cookies might come out little bit flat, if it does, add 1/4 of baking soda in your second batch.
Tip #2: Always have a stash of can of pumpkin in your pantry during this time of the year!
