My heart always drops when I see breaking news tweet in my twitter feed.
I can't describe the overwhelming sadness that overcame me this afternoon when I learned about the bombing at the Boston marathon.
Sometimes I just can't handle the darkness of this world.
It just feels like it's full of pain.
It is so easy to forget the wonderful things about this world in moments like this.
Despite all of the horror, fear, and loss in the aftermath of yesterday's event, people have responded with bravery and kindness.
I am so thankful that I was able to witness goodness in humanity through news and social media.
It restored my lost faith in humanity.

"There is not enough darkness in all the world to put out the light of even one small candle"-- Unknown

My heart deeply aches for the people that were affected...
They will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope everyone gets to spend extra time with their loved ones and cherish those moments.
Life is too precious.
