Mini Luggage Tote -- Celine
Number One Sunglasses -- Karen Walker

.........................................................

This outfit was inspired by the one and only Sincerely Jules.
If you've been following my blog for a while you would know that I'm slightly obsessed with her.
I just love how she styles everything!

And I have a juicy story to tell you about how the Celine mini luggage tote and Valentino rockstud pumps came into my life. I have a lot of friends who are my fashion inspiration in Japan. They love fashion more than anything in the world. And they are always ahead of trends. Well, couple weeks ago, one of my friends emailed me saying she is getting rid of stuff because she is moving NYC from Japan and she needs to downsize her closet. Lucky for me, we wear the same size in clothing and shoes. She originally purchased these Valentinos back in 2010, so it had some wear on the inside. Because of the condition of it, she offered it to me at a price I couldn't reject! and honestly, the wear is nothing a shoe repair guy can't fix!

The Celine mini luggage tote was a second hand purchase from my mother's sweet friend in Tokyo. She is one of the most successful and fabulous lady I know. And she was also getting rid of things in her closet, and this luggage tote was also offered to me at a price I couldn't reject.

I was originally saving up to purchase the Givenchy Antigona bag or the Celine trapeze tote since those weren't as popular as the luggage totes. While the Celine luggage totes are beautiful, I felt like they were becoming a little too popular. I told myself I could never spend retail price on a luggage tote when I can buy the other two purses I've been eyeing for less. But then this came along at such a great deal... I just couldn't pass it up!

What are some things you've scored big time?

I love the way that Jules styles everything too! I just found out that there's a possibility we'll be moving to California soon and I immediately stalked her blog for inspiration. I love the camo pants (and that chic bag) but I might die in a sweatshirt here!
