It's been so long since my last post and there is a good reason why...
I've been thinking of ways to share this news with you guys.
But I just can't think of  the best way to announce it other than saying it plain and simple...

We are expecting a baby this fall!

Lehi and I have been waiting very patiently to tell the world about this very exciting news for us.

While it has been a very exciting time, I've had conflicted feelings of not being able to be completely happy and celebrate from the bottom of my heart.

You see, I have had many privileges to meet women who have been struggling with infertility or have lost a baby and connect with them. It is genuinely my privilege and honor to be trusted with someone's deepest parts of their soul and anguish. I was one of those women that lost their baby couple of years ago. I can understand some of their pain. And because I had a glimpse of the pain, it's been hard to go out in the open and share our news with people.

I've felt slightly guilty. I know I shouldn't. I know I can't control other people's emotions, but I take on other's emotions as if they were my own, and that's my personality. Balancing those emotions have been a challenge until recently a close friend of mine who is incredibly strong and has been going through unthinkable trials this past year gave me a word of advice. Since then I feel a relief and I am at a place where I am incredibly happy and feel so overwhelmed with love, and blessed to be able to have this opportunity to carry this baby.

The first trimester took a toll on me physically. That and traveling for work and family events has taken me away from this blog of mine. But I'm feeling significantly better now, and I'm hoping and planning on getting back into the swing of things.

I want to thank all the companies and sponsors that have been so patient and understanding during these past couple months. I can't thank you all enough for the support and understanding. And the sweet emails I have received from wonderful people I was able to connect and meet through this crazy internet world.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm so happy and thrilled that I am able to share this part of our life with you guys...
I'm also happy that I decided to stick around.

P.S
I apologize beforehand for the glitches you might experience on the blog. It's going through a little facelift. It should be all done in the next few days.

Love, Sasha

Also, I saw that you emailed me yesterday, I apologize for taking a while to respond back, I will get to it as soon as we move into our new home. Things have been a little chaotic around here! Beautifully said and it touched my heart. Since flying is not my favorite thing, I started crocheting the baby·s blanket on my 10 hour flight to Spain. It was therapeutic and I love how it's turning out. I picked off white, can't wait to show you!
