I was able to cross off one of my bucket list while visiting San Francisco this past week.
I have this odd fascination with criminals. I'm obsessed with dateline and 20/20.
I can spend countless of hours on Wiki searching about notorious criminals.
I've always been the type of person who likes to make sense of things, so naturally, I want to understand the psychology of people who commit crime.
AND... have you guys seen the movie The Rock with Nicholas Cage and Sean Connery?
Oh, I love that movie. To see this historical place in person was such a treat.
Oh my goodness, AND... I don't know if this excites anyone as much as it excited me, but we were able to meet William Baker, a previous inmate that was there on the island for a book signing.
Apparently there are only three inmates that are still alive today. Well, that they know of...
It was such a cool experience to meet Bill Baker. He was in and out of prison from age 16-80! The man is 82 years old right now. Ah. I'm seriously so fascinated.
Another surprising thing about Alcatraz was how baby friendly it was! Every since having Coco, I've come to realize that most places are not baby friendly. Places that you would expect it to be.
So it was a huge surprise when I found a well kept bathroom with a changing table! I honestly was ready to just change Coco whenever and wherever. Well, maybe not wherever... I always try to look for places with a little privacy. But sometimes, you get so desperate and desperate times call for desperate measures. Parenthood can be so comical sometimes...
